Meetings
A few FAQ’s for those attending the Anti-HVCC Rally on Wednesday, April 14th.
Q: Should you make appointments for meetings on Capitol Hill with your
Legislator?
A: Yes! It’s always a good idea to make an appointment. Sometimes your Senator
or Congressman may not be available, which means you will be meeting with a
staffer. Staffers often meet with the public and then pass the information on to the
Legislator. Contact information for Senators and Representatives is listed below:

Q: What about transportation and parking?
A: We recommend you use Metro to get to the Capitol. Parking is limited and
garages are expensive. If you’re staying overnight, your hotel has parking available.
The closest Metro stop to the Capitol is the Red Line. It will take you to
Station, which is approximately 3 blocks away. When you come out of the station the
Capitol is straight ahead.
Q: What about signs for the rally?
A: Signs are permitted. Please remember to be professional. The media will be present
and we want to ensure a positive image. Some suggestions are: 1) Cuomo’s Code
needs to go! 2) Cuomo + HVCC = UNEMPLOYMENT! 3) Cuomo and HVCC
are putting me out of business! 4) Cuomo + HVCC = Backdoor Bank Bailouts!
5) What are Fannie and Freddie hiding?
The Rally starts at 10:00AM and ends at 11:30AM
